How do I let go?

If somebody is not aware of their actions, are they to blame? Should I be understanding? If I tell you how you are acting and treating me, and you still do not understand, are you still to blame? Should somebody be held responsible for their ignorance? Especially if they are unwilling to try to change? What if they don’t know how to change? Do you help them, though they still treat you the same? Do you sacrifice your well being for somebody so willfully ignorant?
How do I let go of somebody unwilling to see how they affect me, how they treat me?
